Halloween Ball

We hosted our first ball! It was held on Halloween night - October 31st - in The Old Kaikōura Winery's cellar. It was the perfect venue to dress up with all our spooky decorations...
It was an awesome night with around 60 youth in attendance, and our members working the bar - making snazzy mocktails - and MCing the evening! 

Thank you so much to The Old Kaikōura Winery - Rob and Rosie - for providing us with the venue, and to Kaikōura Family Violence Free Network for sponsoring the event - this wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
A huge shoutout to all the helpers for the night - Jan and Darryl McRobie on traffic and crowd control, Cheyenne Laugesen, Rosie Poharama, Rawinia Thomas and Jo York for looking after everyone.
Thank you to Cheyne and Amber for feeding us - and to Rob for all the hard work and preparation that was put into dinner; the food was awesome! Thanks to the Youth Council team; Grace, Amber J, Maia, Theo, Jade, Vicki and Sarah. The drinks were spectacular and we all appreciate the time and effort that was put into the evening!
